“Whip up some gnocchi accompanied by lemon, peas and mint, with a touch of crème fraîche”

The following description outlines the procedure and ingredients for a meal catering to two individuals; perfectly suited for either lunch or dinner. This recipe requires a brief prepping duration of 5 minutes and a cooking time of 10 minutes.

Here are the required ingredients:
– A generous pinch of sea salt
– One tablespoon of vegetable oil
– A single small brown onion, properly minced
– A crushed clove of garlic
– 250ml of chicken broth
– 250g fresh gnocchi
– One tablespoon of crème fraîche
– 70g of frozen peas
– Grated zest and juice from half a lemon
– 40g grated pecorino cheese
– Garnish with mint leaves

First, begin by bringing a sizeable pot of water to a simmer, seasoning it generously with sea salt. Proceed to heat a large skillet, where you’ll add the vegetable oil. Incorporate the diced onion and crushed garlic, allowing it to sweat for roughly 2-3 minutes over moderate heat before incorporating your chicken broth.

As your broth begins to gently simmer down, introduce the fresh gnocchi into the simmering water pot. After 2 minutes of blanching, remove the gnocchi from the heat.

Once your broth has simmered down to approximately half its initial volume, reduce the heat and stir in the crème fraîche. Following this, add the frozen peas and blanched gnocchi into the skillet, stirring it all together for about 2-3 minutes. You may then remove it from heat and season it with lemon zest, lemon juice, and extra sea salt as required.

Finally, ladle the mixture into individual serving bowls and finish it off with graded pecorino cheese and a sprinkling of mint leaves for garnish.
