Two Drivers Injured in Kerry Crash

An urgent appeal for witnesses has been issued by the Gardaí following a serious road collision in Co Kerry that occurred on Friday. The incident which took place around 3.15pm at Tullig Beg, Killorglin on the N70 involved a van and an SUV. Severe injuries were sustained by the two drivers involved; a male in his 30s and female in her 50s. Post the incident, both individuals were airlifted and rushed to the Cork University Hospital.

Forensic collision investigators have conducted an extensive examination of the scene. Post-investigation, the road was re-opened for the public. Friends and family will remember the cyclist Greta Price-Martin, tragically killed in a Dún Laoghaire crash, forever.

Those present or who managed to witness the unfortunate incident and have related video clips including dashcam footage are being strongly encouraged by the Gardaí to step forward and make it accessible to the investigation team.
