“The Doyle Collection’s esteemed Irish hospitality chain, which includes The River Lee, eagerly announces the upcoming instalment in its exclusive series of Wine Dinners. This special occasion, entitled “An Evening with Iñigo Echávarri of Barón de Ley” will take place at The Grill Room on Tuesday, the 26th of March at 7 o’clock in the evening.

Barón de Ley, renowned for its exceptional wines, is nestled in Rioja, Spain’s renowned wine-producing region. Established in 1985, Barón de Ley pays homage to the region’s diverse ecology and rich historical background. Its premises is a former monastery, where monks initiated wine production over half a millennium ago. The brand name ‘de ley’, translating from Spanish to ‘legitimate’, is a testament to their dedication to quality, as they meticulously tend to every detail of each bottle they produce.

This exclusive event at The River Lee offers a unique opportunity to indulge in exquisite wines carefully selected from Barón de Ley’s portfolio, paired with a curated five-course tasting menu. The expertly designed menu is the handiwork of Paul Lane, the Head Chef at The River Lee.
