“Postmortem for Boy’s Clare Pool Incident”

A seven-year-old boy tragically lost his life in a swimming pool incident at the Lakeside Hotel and Leisure Centre in Killaloe, Co Clare. Brought in unconscious from the water, every attempt was made to revive him, but to no avail. The area coroner has been alerted and a postmortem examination will be conducted. It has been reported that the boy was swiftly transferred by ambulance to the local hospital from the hotel, which is conveniently located near the towns of Ballina and Killaloe. The birthday party the boy was attending was at the hotel, which is a 24km distance from Limerick. The boy hailed from the neighbouring parish of Clonlara. A Garda spokesperson confirmed that their personnel, along with other emergency services, reacted swiftly to the unfortunate incident at the Clare hotel swimming pool, which happened just before 3 pm on Saturday, April 20th. The boy was hurriedly taken from the scene to University Hospital Limerick where he was declared dead. The Garda has said it treats the incident as a “heartbreaking accident”, ruling out any suspicion of foul play. Following the incident, the swimming pool at the hotel leisure centre was promptly shut down. Members of the local community were shocked and expressed their deep sympathies to the grieving family. In the words of one local resident, “God bless them, it’s the worst fear of any parent.” As of now, the hotel management hasn’t given a statement yet.
