Experience with Deposit Return Scheme?

This week, Conor Pope authored an article concerning the ongoing queries from our audience regarding the deposit return scheme which was implemented in early February.

It’s only right to acknowledge that not every individual is satisfied with how the scheme is progressing. Issues ranging from malfunctioning machines, a price hike and the necessity of travelling to stores for recycling bottles have been noted.

During the scheme’s launch, the Re-turn chairman, Tony Keohane, stated the initiative would contribute significantly to “less litter, less waste, better environment”.

We are now interested in gathering further feedback on the deposit return scheme from our audience. Whether your experiences have been favourable or adverse, we welcome your input. We encourage you to fill out the form provided and to be as concise and specific as possible with your comments.

We plan to include a variety of responses in our forthcoming article. For verification purposes, kindly supply a name and a phone number. Should you wish your identity to be kept secret, please specify this in your submission. Rest assured, your personal details will be kept confidential.
